There was a great turn out on Saturday for the second annual Morrow Cup.The day was clear and the sun was spliting the stones as 25 members set out to fish.Early signs from other boats where that a few fish where being caught.The same problem as members who fished over the hot spell found was up again "plenty of fish rising but the just wont take anything".Despite this by one o clock it became aparent that buzzers where the order of the day. There was an almighty rise of fish on the road side of the lake that produced many of the 27 fish landed.

At 3 o clock all 12 boats retured to the jetty for the weight in. The results where as follows:

1st. Padder Mc Avincy of Clones with a fish of 3lb

2nd. W.J Brown of Armagh with a fish of 2 1/2lb

3rd. Tom Flynn of Coothill with a fish of 2lb
